Slippery
Sam's - Holiday Cottage Kent
self catering holiday cottage accommodation
Canterbury, Kent
Slippery
Sam's dates from around 1450 and is a Grade II listed building.
It is named after Samuel Jackson, a notorious smuggler who once
lived here.
There is an 18th Century barn on the property which has been converted
into two holiday cottages.
Smuggler's
Rest is a two-storey, four-bedroomed
property and
Moonrakers is a two bedroomed ground
floor property which is also suitable for disabled use. The two
properties can be connected to make one large unit.
Being a former pub/restaurant/hotel the property has sizeable grounds
with ample parking areas. The barn has lawns to the sides and rear
and guests are welcome to make use of the outside facilities. A
picnic bench/seats and kettle barbecue are supplied with each property.
Owners Jane & Ian Wallace look forward to many happy years welcoming
holidaymakers to the property.
